Despite finally slipping down the best-seller charts, Dan Brown appears to remain a favourite with members of the British Parliament. In a survey of which books the pollies are reading, Brown was top of the list, or near top of the list for many of them - despite most of their other books of interest were historical or political 'heavy' reads. Its sad how each opportunity a politician has to sway the opinion of public support (or in their mind the masses) is never refrained from.
I think Dan Brown did a great job writing innovative and enthralling novels. I have mixed feelings about the cinematic release and the Hollywood corruption, which is so common when a great piece of art is made into something else.
I'd hate to think country leaders are too busy winning votes to actually run the country!
Just my thoughts...
